Yadaly Paez has shown interest in art from a very young age. She has studied music, painting, dance and photography throughout her childhood and adolescence. At the age of fifteen after making some videos for her high school, she finally discovers her true passion as a filmmaker.
In 2009 she studied Arts at the Universidad Central de Venezuela and parallel to that, filmmaking at the Escuela de Cine y Televisión de Caracas. Although she learned a lot during that experience, she knew that her best option was to study filmmaking in the United States, so by the summer of 2010 she moved to Fort Lauderdale and started her Bachelors Degree in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production at The Art Institute. In 2013 she graduated as a Cum Laude and won Best Portfolio.
Yadaly enjoys writing, producing and directing. Creating short stories and enlightening documentaries are two of her favorite things to do. She has many goals for her future, including joining the Directors Guild of America. Eager to explore the world, Yadaly’s plan is to work with people that can inspire her, learn from and most importantly, be a Filmmaker.
